Actor McKinley Freeman, One of Hollywood’s Sexy Leading Man!
With his chiseled physique, charming smile, and handsome looks, McKinley Freeman returns to the big screen as he stars and produces the thought-provoking thriller, ILLICIT alongside Vivica A. Fox David Ramsey, and Dean Cain premiering May 5th at select theatres nationwide. ILLICIT tells the story of a married couple that find out that starting an extra marital affair is a lot easier to do than ending one when they both are seduced into outside situations. Best known for his scene-stealing role as ‘Derek Roman’ on VH1’s fan-favorite “Hit the Floor,” this Brainiac is a businessman turned actor having worked at IBM until a chance audition landed him a role on ABC’s “All My Children.” He’s since appeared on award-winning shows including FOX’s “Bones,” ABC’s “General Hospital,” NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” as well as the feature film END OF WATCH alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña.
When he’s not filming, McKinley indulges his sweet tooth by cooking and staying fit with various forms of boxing, kickboxing and martial arts including Bojuka, Jeet Kune Do, and Muay Thai. A poet at heart, he often finds himself writing whenever he feels inspired. Additionally, he is involved with Covenant House and the Boys & Girls Club of America, seeking to use his basketball skills to help children.
