The becoming of Lydia Nelson, CEO of Cscrubs With Love, is a true rags to riches story. Born in Queens, New York her path to becoming a successful CEO wasn’t easy. Growing up with a severely mentally ill and abusive mother along with an ex-heroin addict father, who died from HIV when she was only nine years old, caused Lydia to grow up in a toxic and poor environment. As a child, her mother would send her into the store to ask for food, and many
nights she often went to bed hungry. Instead of these experiences deteriorating Lydia, it gave birth to ambition and drive.
Lydia used her constant struggle and financial situation, to motivate, take control, and start dictating her own future, “If being broke doesn’t motivate you, nothing will,” says Lydia. Lydia built her own company without a business background, a mentor, or support system. She built her business solely with self-determination.

Today, Lydia is the proud owner of Cscrubs with Love LLC, which is a wholesale company that places others into business to sell medical apparel. They have start up packages which include website set up, business license set up, wholesale scrub cases and more! This year alone, Cscrubs has grossed over $2 million dollars and Lydia hopes that sharing the secrets to her success can make a financial difference in the lives of others. Attributing her success to her two young kids and husband, who is currently incarcerated, her struggles, growth, tears, and the lessons she’s learned has made her company what it is today, Lydia has no plans to stop anytime soon.
