“Hustle and Soul” follows Chef Lawrence Page and The Pink Teacup Restaurant in Brooklyn
On Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in New York City, Strategic Heights Media and WE TV held a private screening of their new culinary docu-series, “Hustle and Soul”.
The TV series “Hustle and Soul” follows Chef Lawrence Page who is on a mission to elevate his hip and popular Brooklyn soul food restaurant, The Pink Tea Cup. But as he struggles to bring classic soul food recipes to the next level, he must keep his wild staff in line. Drama, jealousy, power struggles and love triangles may get in the way of his dream. Staff blowups and personal beefs put his business in jeopardy. To manage this, it’s gonna take a lot of Hustle & Soul!
Television personality A.J. CALLOWAY moderated a Q&A with the “Hustle and Soul” cast, immediately following the premiere screening. There was also be a music set by DJ QUESTLOVE along with cocktails. The event was held at the The Cutting Room, located at 44 E. 32nd Street, NYC (Between Madison and Park Avenue.)
