Meet Dikhan aka Lenny Thomas from the Tyler Perry Show “Ruthless
Another up and coming heartthrobs comes onto the scene in Tyler Perry’s new BET Plus series Ruthless. Actor Lenny Thomas brings who he is and creates a memorable character that viewers will learn to love and hate at the same time.
Lenny Thomas who is a native New Yorker and brings some of his life experience and wonder to his character and hopes this is the beginning of many things to come in his career. Lenny currently plays the character, Dikhan on Ruthless.
Ruthless takes off from the introduction of Ruth in the premier episode of The Oval. In a backdoor pilot during the first three episodes of The Oval, Ruth Truesdale (Melissa L. Williams) kidnaps her daughter Callie to join her and the sex-crazed members of the Rakudushis cult.
The leader of the Rakadushis is “the Highest” played by Matt Cedeno. The Highest has long hair and is always wearing white. His demeanor is very calm, peaceful, and welcoming. This is to cover up the fact that he is a sexual sadist. He uses drugs to make newcomers black out and lose all memory to violently rape them. He himself is also a drug addict.
Dikhan (Lenny Thomas), is a high ranking cult member who is the right hand to The Highest. He is the overseer of everything that happens on the cult’s property. Dikhan is very handsome and loyal to The Highest, but he is also extremely invasive and stern. Members of all ranks of the cult fear Dikhan. Dikhan reports all wrongdoing of the cult members to The Highest and often recommends and inflicts their punishment.
Although Lenny plays this role so well, he is nothing like Dikhan. In fact, he is a wise young man with a very humble personality. He also is very interesting in helping other artists with his involvement in Audition Arts which he sometimes teaches some of the classes.
When speaking with Lenny he mentioned “I would like see his character Dikhan to show how humanity.” When asked about his future plans as an actor, he says “I am open to roles, will appear on other Tyler Perry shows and perhaps do some directing in the future.”
