Stars, Filmmakers and Special Guests Celebrate Marvel Television’s “Daredevil: Born Again” Tonight at New York’s Hudson Theater
Stars, filmmakers and special guests hit the red carpet in New York City tonight to celebrate the launch of Marvel Television’s upcoming new series “Daredevil: Born Again.” Attendees screened the first two episodes — both began streaming on Disney+ on March 4, at 6 p.m. PT.
The cast members from the series were in attendance, including Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zurer, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini and Mohan Kapur. Filmmakers on hand tonight were Brad Winderbaum (EP), Sana Amanat (EP), Dario Scardapane (showrunner/EP), and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead (directors/EPs).
In celebration on tonight’s launch event, Cox and D’Onofrio visited the Empire State Building this afternoon for a lighting ceremony in collaboration with Marvel Television, Disney+ and American Red Cross at the Empire State Building.
In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course. The series also stars Jon Bernthal. Dario Scardapane is showrunner. Episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd; and executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman & Chris Ord, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead.
