NYC Web Fest is back. 52 projects including Web Series’, Pilot Episodes, and Short Films will screen on the Eventive platform, with live events planned.

Check out our OFFICIAL LINEUP as we go virtual this weekend. A combination web series, pilot episodes and short films will stream as Video On Demand options for viewers, plus several live streams as well. That’s right, you’ll have a week to screen our Official Selections from the comfort of your own homes!

Our livestream lineup includes Broadway star Julie Halston & actor Victor Williams both of whom are on our jury. The two performers have several other things in common — they’re longtime New York actors who have worked on stage and screen, and are both former recipients of the Special Guest Star Award at NYC Web Fest.

Victor Williams will speak to former jury member Joanna Pickering on Friday November 13th at 3:30pm Eastern Time & Julie Halston will chat with fellow jury member Krista Hovsepian on Saturday November the 14th at 1:00pm EST.

We’re delighted to present a workshop by teacher and filmmaker Jamie Monahan, “Pre-Production During a Pandemic: 6 Ways to Move Your Project Forward During Quarantine.” Jamie taught a pitching workshop at our festival in 2019 and it was really well received — so happy to have her back!

Another fun thing added this year — virtual networking!
With so many productions shut down and in-person festivals being canceled or shifting online, we miss people! Our Social Media Director Robert Watson found a site where we can speed-network and connect, so despite being virtual this year, we’ll still have an Opening Night party, like the good old days.

You can buy tickets on the website.

Here are some of the Festival Highlights:

● Industry Panels featuring Female Filmmakers, New York Based Creators, and International Creators from the UK, Middle East, Australia & Canada
● World Premiere of Best Web Series Nominee Thirty The Series Season 2
● World Premiere of Short Film Will You Take This Dog? from NY Filmmaker & Actress Shari Albert
● World Premiere of Two Windows, an Absurdist Comedy from 2019 Best Director Winner Heidi Weitzer and 2019 Best Actress Nominee Monk Henshaw
● Festival Premiere of Krystal M. Harris’ Powerful Pilot The New Jim Crow: Majority Rules
● Interactive Awards Ceremony to close the weekend

Expect a fun and exciting event that you will be talking about and sharing with many.
