The LA Premiere for the Netflix film, THEY CLONED TYRONE on
On Tuesday, June 27, Netflix hosted the premiere event of THEY CLONED TYRONE at the Post 43 Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles, CA. John Boyega, Teyonah Parris, David Alan Grier, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Tamberla Perry and Eric Robinson Jr. were in attendance.
In addition to the some of the stars attending the premiere, the fproducers Charles D. King, Stephen “Dr.” Love and Datari Turner, plus executive producers Mark R. Wright, Jack Murray and Dana Sano were there as well.
THEY CLONED TYRONE premiered on Netflix Friday, July 21.
The film is the story of a series of eerie events that thrusts an unlikely trio (Boyega, Foxx and Parris) onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in this pulpy mystery caper.
The movie can be described as partly comedic, mixed with drama and a bit of mystery. The look of the characters are reminiscent of a few blackploitation films from the 70s infused with the up to date technology of today.
There are a few twists and turns in the film and is an enjoyable ride and stars John Boyega, Teyonah Parris, David Alan Grier, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Tamberla Perry, Eric Robinson Jr. with Kiefer Sutherland and Jamie Foxx.
The film is written and directed by Jule Taylor. THEY CLONED TYRONE is streaming now on Netflix.
