The National Black Theatre (NBT) headed to Brooklyn, joining forces with Apple Williamsburg to celebrate Black History Month. Artists Jillian Walker — whose play, SKiNFoLK: An American Show, produced by The Bushwick Starr and National Black Theatre runs February 26 — March 14 at the Bushwick Starr — Makeba Rainey and Jaimee Todd discussed arts, tech and visual representations of Black womanhood in a conversation moderated by NBT’s Artistic Director Jonathan McCrory.

It was all part of NBT’s 51st season themed “SOUL JOURNEY: NBT Beyond Walls” which sees the Harlem institution producing works around the city and country in light of the development of its building.
