The New House Party Film in Theaters January 13, 2022
For Gen Xers of the 1990s, you need to know that is not a remake of the original House Party film. The film does pay homage to the original movie starring, the rap group Kid N Play, but it is so much more. Check out the trailer.
Within the story, 2 aspiring club promoters and best buddies Damon and Kevin are barely keeping things together. They are many times out of money, down on their luck and about to lose the roofs over their head.
Like most of their friends, they need a huge windfall to make their problems go away. They have dreams, but to pay the bills they work a regular job cleaning other people’s houses. As luck would have it, they land a job with a new client and soon decide to host the party of the year at an exclusive mansion, which just happens to belong to none other than NBA superstar LeBron James. Great idea or not, they decide to go with it. What could go wrong?
The film follows the antics of these two young men and viewers will be in store for quite a few cool cameos with them film. While, it might not be a good idea to try something like this at home, moviegoers will enjoy the ride. For more information on the film, check out the website.
