An animated biopic told entirely in LEGO animation, Piece By Piece tracks Pharrell’s journey in a fantasia of music, color, and life that affirms the universal truth that anyone from anywhere can build their dreams, brick by brick.

Told entirely in LEGO animation, an idea that was the improbable, if audaciously original brainchild of Pharrell himself, the film deftly flits between genres to create an entirely new kind of animated biopic about an inimitable superstar. In the film, Pharrell, telling his story in a way he never has before, recounts his journey as a young dreamer from the projects of Virginia Beach, willing his way to success and redefining the sounds and styles of multiple generations in the world of hip hop and beyond.
As he, along with a parade of superstar guests, from Jay-Z and Missy Elliott to Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar, share this incredible journey, the raw behind-the-scenes moments of Pharrell’s life are reimagined in Neville’s cinematic vision with playfully vibrant animation.
